Background: Last November 10 of the UK's leading experts briefed an invited audience of 1200 politicians and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and economy. The briefing set out the implications of climate breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy. Communities and organisations all across the country are now screening a 50 minute documentary film based on that Westminster event in order to brief the UK public about the climate and nature crisis.
The 16 rated film, " The People's Emergency Briefing", fronted by Chris Packham, will be shown at Tullynessle and Forbes Hall on Thursday 1st October at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7pm.
